This article explains in detail how Subtitle Mixer works.

Step 1. Load File One

The first step of using Subtitle Mixer is load the first .srt file. Subtitle Mixer will extract language text from this .srt file.

You just click this button on toolbar. Subtitle Mixer will load and extract language text from this .srt file. The red language text are just extracted from .srt one in figure one.

Step 2. Load File Two

The second step of using Subtitle Mixer is load the second .srt file.

You just click this button on toolbar. Subtitle Mixer will load and extract language text from this .srt file. The blue language text are  just extracted from .srt two in figure one. At the same time, the language mapping text is generated. You can view it by click this tab on the bottom of the figure one.

By usefunction, you can view language text one and two with sync scroll mode. It is a great function.

Step 3. Change CharSet

This step is not necessary. If the first or second extract language text is not normally displayed.

you can use this step and click this button on toolbar. You can change the first or second extract language text's charset until they can be normally displayed.

you just click the save button and you will see the menu, then you can save what you want.

Step 4. Add Vocabulary or Sentence into Library

You just select the vocabulary or sentence use your mouse, the vocabulary or sentence will be auto copied. Then you can add vocabulary or sentence anytime. You can view the library by click the button  At the same time, if you don't satisfied with the mapping text generated by system, you can make custom mapping text by this function.

Step 5. Mini Study

Click button . You will see a tiny window and circulate display vocabulary or sentence.

You can click your mouse right-button on the blue sector, then Mini Study will exit.

Step 6. Convert File Code Schema

You can convert a file's code schema from one schema to another schema by click button .

Step 7. Play Subtitle(WaterMark Subtitle)

You can play your subtitle for the movie that have not any subtitle. You can even play any kind of subtitle you want for your movie.

You can play your subtitle by this tool. You can load your subtitle, change the subtitle font, charset and delay play speed.

When you click the play button, the subtitle will be played and will be shown transparently like subtitle integrate with the movie.

When the subtitle is playing, you can move your mouse above the subtitle language, you will see the main UI again, then you can do your operations you want.

Step 8. Translate and Edit Subtitle

You can edit and translate your subtitle easily using this function.
